Candy Bar Brownies
I came across this recipe years ago, and have made it hundreds of times for my family and as a gift mix. Any kind of chocolate candy bar works.
6 miniature chocolate candy bars
1 cube butter, melted
2 eggs
¾ tsp. vanilla
¼ c. baking cocoa
1½ c. sugar
½ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. salt
1 c. flour
Preheat oven to 350°. Unwrap chocolate bars and chop into coarse chunks. Mix together butter, eggs, and vanilla. Add remaining ingredients, including chocolate chunks. Gently stir until moistened. Spread into a greased 8×8-inch pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
