We went to Washington to spend time with Bret’s family for Thanksgiving, so for Christmas we went to Idaho to see my family. There was a lot of Xbox, ping pong, and acting like a 12-year-old going on the whole time, but it was enjoyable. I was also reminded of how much IĀ despiseĀ Utah Valley thrift stores. Seriously. You get spoiled fast when you can buy everything for a quarter each, and there’s actually things you want.
This is not the highlight, but it was definitely the most photo-worthy part of Christmas: a huge sagebrush Christmas tree. No, it is not a family tradition. It was just the most convient “tree” they could find/get. The only problem is if you touch it, it will rain yucky little particles all over your clothes, hair, and carpet.
