Jeremy & Annalee came to Utah, so we spent last weekend with them and with Sean and Christina.

Our babies are each about 1 1/2 months apart, and they’re already friends. :)

Christmas

We went to Washington to spend time with Bret’s family for Thanksgiving, so for Christmas we went to Idaho to see my family. There was a lot of Xbox, ping pong, and acting like a 12-year-old going on the whole time, but it was enjoyable. I was also reminded of how much I despise Utah Valley thrift stores. Seriously. You get spoiled fast when you can buy everything for a quarter each, and there’s actually things you want.

This is not the highlight, but it was definitely the most photo-worthy part of Christmas: a huge sagebrush Christmas tree. No, it is not a family tradition. It was just the most convient “tree” they could find/get. The only problem is if you touch it, it will rain yucky little particles all over your clothes, hair, and carpet.

bret and i went to my parent’s home for a few days last week in idaho. they have a huge garden (over an acre), and the fam decided to start selling their produce, since there is no way on earth they could eat that much garden. so they moved this little shed to the side of the driveway, and now sell food to people driving by:

there are two very large rows of zucchini:

they also have a lot of chickens…

the family was in slc this weekend for general conference, so bret and i went up to see them and watch conference.

=good.
